IMO ChromeCleaner is only marginally better. Isn't this more of a
MalwareRemover?

The tool's official name is "Chrome Cleanup Tool" (see
https://www.google.com/chrome/cleanup-tool/) and as part of implementing a
Chrome-native UI, we will stop referring to it as a "tool". Right now, we
already have a component called "chrome_cleaner" in Chromium's code base:
https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/components/chrome_cleaner/

So when it comes to naming the feature, that ship has kind of sailed :).
